We would like to introduce ourselves and our products to you.
In 1995 Dr. Donald B. Feinsod, the founder of skindoctor.com,
decided he wanted to share his skin care expertise and the products
that he helped develop with those other than his valued patients.
The answer was the Internet. He created a web site to share his
products with everyone. All products on this site are the same
products used in his office for the past 25 years. Of course during
this time products have been improved as well as new products
introduced. Dr. Feinsod also has numerous other products available
that are not presently on the website. We welcome you to email us
with products that you may be interested in but are not seen on the
website at the present time.
We would like to invite you to try products that have been proven
effective in the doctor’s office on real patients. We offer a broad
spectrum of products from skin care to anti aging. One of our most

And now Dr. Feinsod would like to explain a little bit more about
Freshave:
Freshave, a clinically proven, dermatologist developed, shaving
mousse, proven to virtually eliminate all traces of skin irritation
and razor burn associated with the daily rigors of shaving.
With its unique dermatologist developed formula, Freshave utilizes
the lubricating properties of polyethylene-based liquid crystal
emulsions. Not an aerosol, Freshave is a highly concentrated mousse
that delivers its rich emollients to the base of the hair follicle,
enabling one to get an exceptionally close shave, while reducing
mechanical abrasion, irritation and pseudofolliculitis barbae
(razor bumps).
In a clinical study designed to compare the efficacy of Freshave
vs.
other over –the-counter shave cream preparations 50 patients were
examined at 2 weeks, 1 month, 3 months, and 4 months. Freshave
had
a 98% success rate in reduction of razor bumps and irritation, while
the over-the-counter products lagged behind with less than a 35%
success rate.
